Maine Board of Dental Examiners Launches New Website

The Maine Board of Dental Examiners, a statewide agency established to protect the public through the licensing and oversight of individuals practicing in the dental profession, announces the launch of its new website www.maine.gov/dental.

The website was designed and developed by the Board of Dental Examiners in partnership with InforME, the state’s digital government portal provider. The site serves as a tool to inform both the public and individuals practicing in the dental profession about statutes and rules, to provide licensing information, and to make policies regarding the dental examiner profession in Maine easily accessible.

“This new website should substantially improve how we connect with our licensees and the public. Licensees can access more information about the profession, keep up-to-date with statute and rule changes, access online applications and forms, and keep their contact information current. The public can easily obtain information about licensees, including disciplinary action imposed by the Board,” said Penny Vaillancourt, Executive Director, Maine Board of Dental Examiners.

The redesign brings the Board’s official web presence into the Maine.gov network with a new address, www.maine.gov/dental. It also modernizes the look of the site, reorganizes data for better usability, and provides additional services, including an online complaint form.
