MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- (Business Wire)
The Alabama Historical Commission (AHC) is proud to announce a new
online application that makes it easier than ever to make donations that
aide in preserving Alabama’s historic sites. Individuals, businesses and
organizations can now make
electronic, tax deductible donations to the Historical Commission
through an easy to use, mobile-friendly application at https://www.alabamainteractive.org/ahc_donation.
“It is through the generous donations of supporters that the Historical
Commission continues to protect, preserve, and interpret Alabama’s
historical places,” said AHC Director of Historic Sites Stephen McNair.
“The new online donation service provides a fast, convenient way for
anyone to support many of our state’s historical sites.”
This application was built through a partnership with Alabama
Interactive, the state’s official partner for eGovernment services.
Donations of any dollar amount are accepted on the site and can be made
using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
An enhancement coming soon to the online donation service will allow
supporters to allocate funds directly to a list of AHC’s non-profit
partners where they can specifically support a particular historical
site or group.
