Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker
Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), has been awarded an 18-month, $1.1 million
design contract, as part of the DLZ Ohio, Inc., team, by the Ohio
Department of Transportation (ODOT), District-12.
Specifically, Baker will provide drainage design and design of temporary
traffic control during construction for the widening of I-271 within a
six-mile combined section of the I-271/I-480 corridor located in the
Ohio communities of Oakwood, Bedford, Bedford Heights and Warrensville
Heights. These services will facilitate the safe and efficient movement
of traffic through the work zone, and insure the constructability of
elements within the project area.
Baker’s Sean Milroy, P.E., PMP, project manager, said, “We are pleased

fast-paced project that will improve a congested section of the combined
