FRANKFORT, Ky. -- (Business Wire)
Ninety-nine percent of Kentucky engineers and surveyors renewed their
licenses online, through the Kentucky Board of Licensure for
Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (KYBOELS) website.
David Cox, Executive Director of KYBOELS stated that, “moving the
renewal process online has benefited the licensees as well as the
KYBOELS staff.” Cox also stated that “licensees receive immediate
confirmation of their renewal and the staff’s time devoted to license
renewal has decreased by 80 percent.”
KYBOEL’s
website, powered by Kentucky
Interactive LLC, provides licensed engineers and land surveyors the
ability to renew licenses, apply for licensing by endorsement, submit an
application for reinstatement and renew firm permits.
Through their public-private partnership with Kentucky Interactive LLC,
KYBOELS is able to provide secure and mobile-friendly online services,
at no cost to taxpayers.
