The mobile-friendly website improves access to public safety information

The Department of Public Safety announced the launch of a new website designed to be more intuitive, informative, and simple to use. While incorporating the latest Web technology and design, the website’s main goal is to help visitors access the most up-to-date public safety information in a quick and easy way. Continuing Utah.Gov’s move to mobile-first design, the website was completely recreated with today’s mobile user in mind.

“We know Utahns need to access a variety of public safety resources through our website,” said Keith D. Squires, Commissioner of the Utah Department of Public Safety. “Our goal is to provide the same great service and resources, while helping residents get the information they are looking for as quickly as possible.”

The website centralizes access to public safety resources provided by the state. Visitors can access a variety of online services on the new website, including: latest news, connections to DPS social media, public safety divisions, and direct contact information.
