MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- (Business Wire)
The state of Alabama’s official provider for eGovernment services, Alabama
Interactive, has recently launched CorpWatch,
a fraud monitoring service for Alabama business owners supported by the
Alabama Secretary of State’s Office. By signing up for CorpWatch,
Alabama business owners enhance their security measures by receiving
notifications as soon as a change in their company’s information occurs,
creating increased visibility and added protection from potentially
fraudulent activity.
"The Secretary of State's office supports the development and launch of
Alabama Interactive's CorpWatch service. This service creates a
mechanism to detect wrongful activity in this time of growing identity
fraud. We support businesses having access to this additional service
which will increase their peace of mind and enhance current security
measures,” said Secretary of State Jim Bennett.
A CorpWatch
subscription costs only $35 per year for each company monitored. The
Alabama Secretary of State’s office will not financially benefit from
the purchase of a subscription. For more information, visit the Subscriptions
page on the State’s official website, Alabama.gov.
