FRANKFORT, Ky. -- (Business Wire)
Ninety-nine percent of Kentucky real estate agents and associates
renewed their 2014 license online, through the Kentucky
Real Estate Commission’s (KREC) website, http://krec.ky.gov/.
“While licensees were initially skeptical of an online renewal process,
they quickly embraced the ease of usage,” said KREC’s Director of
Education & Licensing, Kristen Reese.
KREC’s website,
hosted on the Kentucky.gov platform, provides real estate professionals
the opportunity to renew and modify licenses, search the KREC database,
and submit corrections from anywhere with internet connectivity. This
allows real estate professionals to focus on their work, not waiting for
mail delivery or waiting in line at KREC’s offices.
KREC worked with Frankfort-based Kentucky
Interactive, LLC to build the online solutions under an existing
statewide master contract for eGovernment services. With respect to the
partnership between KREC and Kentucky Interactive LLC, Reese stated that
“the Kentucky Interactive team is highly attentive to our needs and
quick to respond.”
