FRANKFORT, Ky. -- (Business Wire)
The Kentucky Judicial Form Retirement System (KJFRS) launched a new website
to provide its members, retirees and the general public easier access to
System information. The site was built using responsive design, enabling
instant access to system resources and reporting across multiple devices.
The site
provides members and retirees of the Kentucky Judicial Retirement Plan
and the Kentucky Legislators Retirement Plan access to a broad range of
administrative and financial data, including the Plans’ summary plan
descriptions, financial reports, portfolio appraisals and performance
reports. In addition to these reports, the general public is able to
view annual audits, actuarial reports and plan investment and expenses
for heightened clarity of state government retirement funding.
The System’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted to create the site at
the Board’s meeting on January 29, 2016. “While providing increased
access to benefit and retirement information for our members and
retirees was a fundamental goal, increasing transparency of the
retirement plans and investment funds to the public was the paramount
focus of this project,” stated Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Laurance
B. VanMeter, Chairman of the Judicial Retirement Investment Committee.
The Kentucky Judicial Form Retirement System site
was built at no-cost to KJFRS through a public-private partnership with
Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.
