BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- (Business Wire)
Wells Fargo Insurance – part of Wells Fargo & Company – has named Paul
Lazar senior vice president and managing director for its Alabama and
Tennessee operations. Based in Birmingham, AL, Lazar will oversee
insurance sales and operations within these markets and will report to
Tom Longhta, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance's
South region.

Lazar most recently served as the business development leader for Wells
Fargo Insurance’s Southeast operations, where he was responsible for
bank cross-sell and business development efforts across the region.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he spent three years in finance and sales
leadership with Integro USA, Inc. in Atlanta. Lazar began his career as
a CPA with Ernst & Young and spent a number of years with Marsh &
McLennan in New York and Atlanta.
Lazar currently serves as the secretary and career services chair for
the Atlanta chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI). He is
also a member and founding sponsor of the ATI Financial Executives Forum
for chief financial officers and a member of the Atlanta chapter of the
Financial Executives Networking Group.
Lazar earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Binghamton
University in Binghamton, N.Y. and his master of business administration
in finance from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga.
