The 2015 Kentucky Arts Council’s Kentucky
Crafted: The Market exhibitor registration application has achieved
a 99 percent adoption rate. The Kentucky Arts Council has been offering
adjudicated artists, who are eligible to exhibit at the Market, ability
to register for the event since 2012. After updating the exhibitor
registration application and promoting an early registration deadline
this year, the Arts Council was able to achieve an unprecedented 99.1
percent rate of usage. The Kentucky Arts Council’s 2015 Kentucky Crafted
event will be March 7-8, 2015 at the Lexington Convention Center in
Lexington, Kentucky (http://artscouncil.ky.gov/KentuckyArt/Event_Market.htm).
Chris Cathers, Program Branch Manager of the Kentucky Arts Council,
stated that providing the Kentucky
Crafted: The Market exhibitor registration online, “has led to a
reduction of staff hours devoted to the project, while also providing
better event forecasting.”
With respect to Cathers’ experience with Kentucky Interactive LLC, he
stated that “they have been able to create a product that serves our
agency needs exactly as we have needed them to do so.”
