BOISE, Idaho -- (Business Wire)
The Idaho Commission on the Arts now enables citizens to pay online
using credit
and debit cards, thanks to Access Idaho’s PayPort
secure payment processing service.
“We have found PayPort to be easy to administer and cost-efficient to
use,” said Stuart Weiser, Commission on the Arts Deputy Director. “We
currently use PayPort to process registration payments for our annual
Arts Powered Schools Institute. Given how simple and fast it was to set
up, we can envision using PayPort for other programs in the future. It’s
a good system.”
The Idaho Commission on the Arts is planning to expand its services with PayPort
to include a donation site in the near future.
The commission accepts any credit
or debit card displaying a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American
Express logo.
The partnership between Idaho Commission on the Arts and Access Idaho
operates under a self-funded model in which no tax dollars or county
funds were used to develop and none are necessary to maintain the
service.
Idaho Commission on the Arts is the 30th state agency to
implement Access Idaho’s PayPort
payment service. In addition to PayPort, Access Idaho, a subsidiary of
NIC, manages the state’s official Web portal, idaho.gov,
and specializes in online government applications.
