Solutions WLAN Cloud Services to its solutions offering. ScanSource
POS & Barcode US and Canada is the first distributor to offer Motorola’s WLAN
Cloud Services.
Through this relationship, ScanSource resellers are able to assist their
end-user customers with the management of their WLAN networks from a
hosted controller. Resellers can now enhance their managed services
offering and uncover new opportunities for yearly recurring revenue. By
delivering wireless solutions as a service, resellers can provide
alternative options to their end-user customers that do not want to tie
up capital in appliances, controller or software license purchases and
instead prefer an operating expense model with predictable payments.
ScanSource will be providing Motorola’s WLAN planner, WiNG controller,
Wireless Intrusion Prevention and WLAN Network Assurance cloud service
solutions.
