Herbalife Member from Mexico Recognized for Advocating on Behalf of
Children at Risk of Homelessness
LOS ANGELES -- (Business Wire)
The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) announced today that it has
awarded its 2016 Global Humanitarian Award to Sara Alfaro, independent
Herbalife member from Mexico, at Herbalife’s annual Honors event in
Cancun, Mexico.
Ms. Alfaro was recognized for the outstanding support she extends to a
variety of philanthropic projects including generous support of HFF and
its flagship Casa Herbalife Program.
HFF awards the Humanitarian Award honor to independent Herbalife members
who exemplify the foundation’s mission and, through outstanding
involvement and dedication, have made a significant contribution to
changing lives by providing access to good nutrition and a healthy
active lifestyle.
Over the past 23 years as an independent Herbalife member, Ms. Alfaro
has inspired her peers, family and friends through her dedication and
passion for improving the lives of those in need. She spends time
providing for economically-challenged children by donating food and
supplies and is also dedicated to raising social awareness of the needs
of children at risk of homelessness. She is also continually recognized
for being a top donor to the Casa Herbalife Programs in Mexico and
worldwide.
“It is my great pleasure to present Sara with the 2016 Humanitarian
Award,” said Robyn M. Browning, executive director of the Herbalife
Family Foundation. “Her extraordinary commitment and dedication to
children in need exemplify the mission of HFF and inspires others to
lend their support.”
