SALT LAKE CITY -- (Business Wire)
The Web Marketing Association recently recognized Utah
Hunting and Fishing as the Best Government Mobile Application.
Designed to improve hunters and anglers outdoor experience, the app
demonstrates the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and Utah.Gov’s
leadership in creating superior online solutions that improve the lives
of its citizens. This marks the second year in a row a Utah.Gov
mobile application has been recognized as best in class with a MobileWebAward.
Last year Utah.Gov’s
OnTime public transportation vehicle tracking application won the
award.
“It is an honor to receive such a prestigious award,” said Greg Sheehan,
director of the Division of Wildlife Resources. “Utahns are showing more
interest than ever in mobile sites and applications and we are happy to
be recognized for our efforts to lead the way in providing convenient
solutions for hunters and anglers.”
The MobileWebAward recognizes excellence in the exploding world of
mobile application development. The competition honors the people and
organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective
mobile websites and mobile apps on the Internet.
