DES MOINES, Iowa -- (Business Wire)
The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) launched a newly
redesigned, mobile-friendly website that can be found at https://dia.iowa.gov.
The new website is more streamlined, making it easier to use, more
intuitive, and provides greater accessibility than the previous website.
The Department’s website
is organized into four major operational units, including the
Administrative Hearings Division, the Food and Consumer Safety Bureau,
the Health Facilities Division, and the Investigations Division.
Visitors to the website can learn more about the goals and missions of
each division, easily access frequently requested materials, or find
contact information.
“We feel that this new design will aid users in finding information
faster while providing an easier way to contact us with questions or
concerns,” said David Werning, DIA’s Public Information Officer.
“Keeping our constituents well-informed has always been our priority,
and our new website
assists us in our goal of protecting the health and safety of Iowans and
the consuming public.”
The website was redesigned in partnership with Iowa Interactive, LLC, of
Des Moines. The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and Iowa
Interactive operate under a self-funded model in which no additional tax
dollars were used to develop or maintain the website.
DIA is the 14th state agency to implement Iowa Interactive’s content
management system (CMS). In addition to the CMS product, Iowa
Interactive manages the state’s official Web portal, Iowa.gov,
and specializes in other online government applications.
