TOPEKA, Kan. -- (Business Wire)

Fick Fossil Museum is pleased to announce the launch of KanPay Counter, a point-of-sale solution provided by Kansas.gov that conveniently processes credit card payments over-the-counter.

”Thanks to Kansas.gov, we are able to benefit our customers with a secure and convenient payment processing solution. We are excited to announce this new offering for our Museum,” said Jodee Reed, Museum Director.

Fick Fossil Museum, in collaboration with Kansas.gov, is now providing KanPay Counter payment processing for various payments in its gift shop including rocks, minerals, fossils, books, and jewelry.

KanPay Counter is designed specifically for state and municipal governments to process credit card payments. The partnership between Kansas.gov and the state operates under a self-funded model where no tax dollars were used to develop and maintain the payment service.

Fick Fossil Museum

The Fick Fossil and History Museum in Oakley, Kansas, shares a building with the Oakley community library. The Fick Museum is free (and accepts donations) and has a number of interesting large dinosaur fossils from Kansas, many old tools, mineral specimens, and shell and mineral folk art. Most of the exhibits provide information about who contributed them. It looks as if everyone in Oakley contributed one thing or another. The Fick Museum's small gift shop offers rocks, minerals, fossils, books, and jewelry.
