Montana Heritage Commission Launches Online Memberships Service

The mobile-friendly service helps preserve Montana’s past

HELENA, Mont. -- (Business Wire)

Thousands of people come from around the globe to thrill at the sights and sounds of Virginia City and other historic sites maintained by the Department of Commerce Montana Heritage Commission. The Commission’s new mobile-friendly online service allows anyone, anywhere, to be a part of preserving Montana’s past. Citizens can do so by becoming a member, or by making a direct donation towards conserving Montana’s historical sites.

To access the easy-to-use online service, visit www.mhcmembership.mt.gov. This secure service is free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Memberships Service is a result of an alliance between state government and the private sector. It was cooperatively developed and is supported by the Montana Department of Commerce, the Montana Department of Administration's State Information Technology Services Division, and Montana Interactive, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of eGovernment provider NIC (Nasdaq: EGOV).
