Russell Heder will lead Sprint’s retail organization, Mike McCauley will
lead the indirect distribution organization and Monty Sauder will lead
the small-medium business organization for the Illinois and Wisconsin
region.
“Heder, McCauley and Sauder have a combined experience of more than 50
years in the wireless industry,” said Jim Mills, Sprint president of
Illinois and Wisconsin. “Competitors should be aware, we’re taking over
the Chicago market and our number one priority is exceeding our
customers’ needs.”
Heder, McCauley and Sauder’s appointments follow Sprint’s announcement
that it will restructure the company into four geographic areas – West,
Central, Northeast and South – with targeted resources devoted to 17 top
regions, including Chicago. Under Mills’ leadership the company,
including the sales directors, will develop market-specific offerings
serving the unique local needs of consumer and business customers.
“It’s an exciting time to be a part of the #Sprint4Chi family,” said
Russell Heder, Sprint director of sales, retail. “We’re making sure that
Illinois and Wisconsin residents know that Sprint is here to stay and
we’re working tirelessly to make sure that we’re their first choice in
wireless.”
Heder has been with Sprint for more than nine years and prior to his
role as director of sales, he led the indirect distribution sales
efforts for the Illinois and Wisconsin region.
McCauley has been with Sprint for more than 15 years and has held
various positions on the indirect team. Prior to his director role,
McCauley developed programs and courses during the launch of the Sprint
for Chicago initiative.
Sauder joins Sprint most recently from T-Mobile where he held various
positions and played a significant role in developing their SMB and
B2B/retail relationship models.
