LINCOLN, Neb. -- (Business Wire)
The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts recognized the Nebraska state website
with two Silver Awards in the11th Annual W³ Awards.
The academy received nearly 5,000 entries worldwide from top companies
and awarded the Nebraska state portal for outstanding quality for User
Interface and Government Website Design.
With a homepage search box front and center producing optimized results
through configurations, labeling, and tagging and attractive background
videos, users have access to information from a pleasing and efficient
portal entry. The drop-down navigation features images and content
commonly used, as well as the additional navigation using homepage tiles
organized by categories and informed by Google Analytics. The All State
Services and All State Agencies pages quickly sort, producing instant
results highlighted in yellow. All these features combined create a
positive and efficient interaction with Nebraska.gov.
“Attention to the user interface assures the citizen locates the
information that he or she needs as quickly as possible. Responsive and
adaptable, the content is accessible no matter what device the user has
at his or her disposal. Being recognized is an honor, and we appreciate
the recognition for the hard work done here by all,” stated Brent
Hoffman GM of Nebraska Interactive.
