Leslie County, Kentucky, Launches a New Mobile-Friendly Website

Leslie County, Kentucky, has launched a new website that provides citizens and businesses access to local government information. The site was built with a mobile-first approach, making it easy to access from any device.

“We are excited to provide current local government information, available from any device,” said Jimmy Sizemore, Leslie County Judge Executive.

In addition to city resources, the site also provides citizens contact information for elected officials and links to a variety of community resources and services.

The site was built at no cost for Leslie County through a public-private partnership with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.

About Leslie County, Kentucky

Leslie County in Kentucky was organized from parts of Clay, Harlan, and Perry Counties in 1878 and is named for Preston H. Leslie who was governor of Kentucky from 1871 to 1875. Hyden, Kentucky is the county seat of Leslie County. Hyden was founded in 1878 and named for state Senator John Hyden (1814-1883), then state senator from Clay County and one of the commissioners appointed to establish Leslie County.
