LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- (Business Wire)

The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory (ASCL) recently announced the launch of its new responsive website, www.crimelab.arkansas.gov, created in partnership with the Information Network of Arkansas (INA).

The site automatically adjusts to fit a variety of screen sizes, making it easy for citizens to access on mobile devices and learn about the agency while on the go. Crime scene technicians, law enforcement officers, forensic scientists, lawyers and court staff can go to the site to find a wealth of educational training materials and resources.

“With the release of our new website, we’re making it easier than ever for citizens and those in the criminal justice community to find information about the important work our agency does to process crime scene evidence,” Arkansas crime laboratory director Kermit Channell said. “We are thrilled to be able to reach citizens on their smartphones through this mobile-friendly website.”

The Information Network of Arkansas designed and developed the website at no initial cost to the agency under its self-funded model. The site is built on INA’s Content Management System (CMS), which enables ASCL staff to update content without any programming skills.
