West
Virginia’s Promise - the Alliance for Youth, in partnership with WV.gov,
the official website of the State of West Virginia, has launched the
West Virginia’s Promise online donation service at http://www.fivepromises.wv.gov.
Visitors to the website can now make
donations online to support the program which works to ensure that
all young people in West Virginia are prepared for success in school,
work and life by having access to five basic resources. These resources
are known as the America's Promise Five Fundamental Resources, The
Five Promises:

A Healthy Start

An Effective Education
-
Opportunities to Help Others
“The generosity of our Promise partners, corporations, foundations and
individuals is essential to our work which is dedicated to enhancing and
improving the lives of our young people,” said Pam Dugan, Director of
the West Virginia’s Promise - the Alliance for Youth. “The new online
donation feature is easy and secure, and enables you to make a donation
to the program in less than a minute. The donations we receive help
support our commitment to ensuring that every young person in West
Virginia receives the Five Promises.”
The goal of the Alliance is to raise awareness and support policies that
increase the support young people have in communities where they live,
