WHAT: | | “Get Your Cans to Sprint” - Sprint
(NYSE: S) is collecting and distributing canned foods such as
canned vegetables, soup, pasta and meat to benefit local families
throughout Georgia. All food collected at the end of the drive
will be distributed to food banks within the state.

“Dropping off a can of food at one of Sprint’s retail stores is such
a simple act,” said Jeff Bennett, Sprint’s Regional Vice President
for the Southeast. “But the generosity of all Georgians who give
back means so much to our local communities. Sprint is excited to
know that many more local families will be less hungry through the
efforts of this food can drive.”

Bring a canned food donation to any Sprint store in Georgia to
help families across the state. Everyone who brings in a canned
donation will receive 20% off accessories in store. Accessories
include phone cases, headphones, speakers, power packs and more.

WHY: | |
While area food banks see larger collections during the
Thanksgiving and Christmas season, food banks see decreases in
supply as demand from families in need of food spikes during the
rest of the year.
