Ravalli County, Montana, reminds all residents that property taxes for the first half of the year are due Wednesday, November 30.

The county implemented a new payment processor for its online tax payment service earlier this year, which allows Ravalli County citizens to pay property taxes online using debit or credit cards, with all major card types accepted.

“Since I have been in office, I have tried to put functions in place to help increase efficiency in our office and create good working relationships with local companies. A year ago, we upgraded our over-the-counter credit card system with Montana Interactive, which cut our time to run a credit card in half,” said Ravalli County Treasurer Dan Whitesitt. The new payment processor, Whitesitt said, “…will further increase efficiency in our office and be simpler for the taxpayers to use. This service will allow us to more easily track payments and reconcile the money we are receiving.”

Online property tax payments can be made by visiting http://ravalli.us/196/Property-Tax. For questions regarding online payments, call 406-375-6600. Calls are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
